At our last Camp evening, two guests shared insights into very different areas of creative work.
Jeannette Bergen showed how she uses generative AI in campaign work as an AI artist and creative director. Her approach demonstrated the new possibilities the technology opens up for creative processes and how it can be integrated into projects in practice.
Alexander Roth then gave us an insight into type design. Together with him, we developed our new Sherpa Sans. During the Camp evening, he showed us live how curves, spacing and shapes are refined with precision, and the role that experience and attention to detail play in the process.
The two perspectives made it clear just how diverse creative work is today: new technologies expand the possibilities for design, while meticulous craftsmanship and well-founded decisions remain the basis of good design.
To round off the evening, we had pizza and celebrated the winners of our Sherpa football predictions competition.
We’d like to thank Jeannette and Alexander for their fascinating insights, and all the Sherpa*nis for sharing the evening with us.
